ReBoot Your Brain to Your God-Given PurPose

A Test of Faith

Are the current state of affairs causing you stress? Is politics on your mind? Are the many public school policies in your district troubling? Do you think world leaders are on the wrong path? Do you wonder about the influences your child is bombarded with? Do you see what some call ‘role models’ are really self-centered, greedy, out-of-control, spoiled kids/adults? Do you worry about your safety in a variety of different areas?

I propose that you reboot your brain and re-focus. On what you ask?

Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

Let’s leave the world out of it and focus on what God’s will is for your life. A couple of months ago I felt like I walked up to a wall and could not go to the right or to the left and I could not scale nor even see the top. I felt a little claustrophobic. I felt stuck doing the same thing over and over. I felt my impact for the Lord had grown cold and just words that no one sees. So, I stopped writing (except for what had deadlines) and reading and studying and began to pray for direction.

I prayed for God to open up the opportunity for me to be IMPACTFUL in the lives of others. I know my God-given gifts and talents involve writing and speaking about the Word, but I just wanted direction to know how to use those gifts to glorify God.

God answers! God has placed a journey in front of me that is exciting and scary. It has not been easy-peasy to step into what God has laid out for me. It has taken great faith, some tears and lots of leaning on Him.

I am now in my forth week of class in a Christian Professional Certified Life Coach program. The focus is Life Purpose. Did you know that many people do not know what their purpose is in relation to what God wants them to do? Did you know that 100% of people feel this way at some point, maybe more, in their life? You know how I know this? How many self-help books are sold each year? People are searching!

My mission is to guide women to discover their God-anointed gifts and talents and use them to the MAX. I want to help women gain clarity and balance in their lives by helping them determine a different perspective on life, problems and their future.

God has already given me several avenues for the path he has set before me. I have this blog, I speak at church to ladies, I am an established writer for the NOW Magazine, I also have started writing for the Parker County Daily Post.

My plans are lofty and big and they scare me to tears. And no matter what happens in this messed-up world, I can focus on heavenly matters. I’ve already decided to take one step at a time and not think about 3 months or 6 months from now. If I think about how I am going to do something 6 months from now with the skills I currently have, I get a lot panicked. I realize we all start at the beginning and this is where I am in my journey. Later will come later with more learning, maturity, knowledge and a whole lot of prayer.

Please pray for my journey while I ReBoot my brain and ReFocus my PurPose with HIM in mind. I pray you find your God-given purpose and use it to the MAX.

Blessings!!
