The majesty of God’s glory peeking over the horizon encapsulates the newness of every day. His compassions for us are new every morning (Lam 3:22) and seeing that newness is a hope giving fuel.
It is chilly here at Moose Creek Ranch in Victor, Idaho. The tinkling stream is meandering its way between rocks and rills. As I sit by the stream, gusts of sauna-like breezes warm my shivering fingers. Where does that come from? I believe it is one of the many God-winks I get through out my day.
Everyone gets God-winks, but you may not be aware of them because you are not intentionally looking for them. LOOK FOR THEM! God is around you every where! He is in the warm breezes. He is whispering in the wind. He is in a bird chirp (and at this very moment, a very loud bird chattered at me. First time I have heard that this morning—Thanks God!) He is in the river. Do you look for Him in every thing? You may not be aware of Him, but he is ever mindful of you!
