Yesterday I posted about turning away the blessings God is trying to give us. After I posted that, my daughter wanted to go run a mile with me so she could get in shape before school started.
I've been thinking I need to exercise more. God worked through my daughter to bless me with an opportunity to exercise. If I would have denied this opportunity, I would have been turning away a blessing God was giving me.
This is an example of embracing God's blessings. I could have turned it away if I would have focused on the pain of running. I'm glad I took advantage of the time to spend with my daughter. It hurt the whole time, but afterwards, I felt great. Don't shy away from blessings because they may be hard at first.
Can you think of an example when you denied a blessing or better yet, when you embraced a blessing.
